Philip graduated from Keele University, Staffordshire in 1975 and has been employed in the finance industry since April 1983.  Before joining the Carey Group he was employed as a director in the trust department of an international bank based in Guernsey and has been involved in the provision of trust and corporate services to private clients throughout his career.  Having completed the Trustee Diploma in 1989 Philip became an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in 1991 and in 1996 became a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
