The Channel Islands Stock Exchange commenced trading on 27th October 1998 and was set up to provide a facility for the trading and listing of investment companies, debt instruments and trading companies.
With more than 10 years experience and having listed more than 3,000 entities, the CISX is regarded as the premier offshore exchange, resulting in the CISX being a Designated Exchange by the Financial Services Authority of the United Kingdom and by Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs as a Recognised Stock Exchange.
Further recognition has resulted in the CISX being awarded Designated Offshore Securities Market status by the Securities and Exchange Commission of the United States and being officially recognised by the Australian Stock Exchange.
The CISX is at the forefront of new innovations in the exchange world and was the first exchange to offer settlement through Euroclear UK & Ireland for open ended investment companies.
